Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by You

We understand that plans can change. Because your accommodation or camping pitch is reserved specifically for you for particular dates, the amount refunded following cancellation depends on how much notice we receive.

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us by email as soon as possible, quoting your booking reference. The cancellation will take effect from the date we receive your written cancellation.

Cancellation scale

28 days or more before your Arrival Date
You may cancel your booking and receive a 90% refund of payments made, excluding any non-refundable booking or transaction fees expressly identified at the time of booking.

14–27 days before your Arrival Date
You may cancel your booking and receive a 65% refund of payments made.

7–13 days before your Arrival Date
You may cancel your booking and receive a 30% refund of payments made.

Less than 7 days before your Arrival Date
Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival are non-refundable.

If you do not arrive for your booking without notifying us, the booking will be treated as a no-show and no refund will normally be provided.

If you leave before the end of your booked stay, we will not normally provide a refund for unused nights.

Where we are able to re-sell some or all of the cancelled dates, we may, at our discretion, offer an alternative date or additional refund. Any such arrangement is discretionary and does not create an obligation for us to do so.

We may, at our discretion, allow a booking to be transferred to alternative dates where availability allows. Any change will be subject to the price applicable to the new dates and any difference in price will be payable.

The cancellation scale applies to all bookings, whether made online, by telephone, email, in person or by invoice, unless different cancellation terms have been expressly agreed in writing.

Illness, injury, changes in personal circumstances, travel disruption and ordinary poor weather do not automatically entitle you to a refund under these Terms & Conditions. We strongly recommend that you take out suitable holiday insurance.

Where we are unable to provide your accommodation because of circumstances within our control, or where we need to cancel your booking because the site or accommodation is unavailable or unsafe, the provisions relating to cancellation by Field House will apply.

Nothing in this cancellation policy affects any statutory rights you may have.

Where we are able to re-sell the cancelled dates, we may, at our discretion, offer an alternative date or refund, less any reasonable costs we have incurred.

Any refund, transfer or amendment is subject to availability and our ability to re-sell the accommodation.

If you choose to leave before the end of your booked stay, no refund will normally be provided for unused nights.

Illness, injury, changes to personal circumstances, travel problems and ordinary poor weather do not automatically entitle you to a refund. We strongly recommend suitable holiday insurance.

Where severe weather or another event creates a genuine safety risk and we are unable to provide the accommodation, the provisions in section 19 will apply.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

We strongly recommend that guests obtain appropriate travel or cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

The site reserves the right to cancel a booking due to events beyond our control (including but not limited to severe weather, safety concerns, or force majeure). In such cases, guests will be offered either a full refund or the option to rebook for alternative dates.

By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and accept this cancellation policy in full.
